The SF stigma aside, it's always seen as a step down for an actor who made his name in movies to go into television. It's like putting on a big sign reasing I CAN'T GET WORK IN FILM ANYMORE.

The only real humans there are the Klingons who are one huge outlaw motorcyckle club and the Romulans who are more human than the humans.
