On this day in 2007, the eccentric individual calling himself 'Magical Trevor' turned up in Kenya filming a commercial for the Kenyan national tourist board.

On this day in 2007, London police returned to the scene of the notorious Giraffe in a loft incident after receiving a call from the loft owner's neighbors reporting that they had found a colony of badgers as well as a snake living under a mushroom in their backyard.

On this day in 2007, the owner of the loft which was the scene of the Giraffe In A Loft incident was admitted to a London psychiatric hospital after an emotional breakdown in which he claimed to have been accosted by talking mangoes, one of which was allegedly dressed as a pirate and after his 'booty'.

On this day in 2007, the already bizarre 'Giraffe in a Loft' saga took yet another strange turn when an eccentric figure identifying himself as 'Magical Trevor' moved into a house just two doors down from the site of the original giraffe incident and made a whole herd of cows disappear from a nearby farm.

On this day in 2007, certain resident of London phoned Scotland Yard to report an intruder in his house; when police arrived on the scene they discovered the intruder to be a giraffe which had been hiding in the man's loft for several days. When questioned, the man vehemently stated that he had not invited the giraffe into his house and that it was keeping him awake all night.

On this day in 2007, Magical Trevor filmed his second TV commercial, this time touting the joys of chocolate.

On this day in 2007, the owner of the loft which was the site of the notorious Giraffe In A Loft incident was interviewed by the BBC about his ordeal and his mental breakdown. During the interview, he revealed that prior to calling Scotland Yard he had tried to throw the giraffe out of his house only to have it return an hour later bringing a horde of elephants with it.
