	On this day in 1963, Lee Harvey Oswald was remanded to the custody of a Texas psychiatric hospital pending determination of his fitness to stand trial on charges of conspiracy to commit murder.

	On this day in 1963, Lee Harvey Oswald had his first session with his court-appointed psychiatrist.

November 29

On this day in 1963, Lee Harvey Oswald told his court-appointed psychiatrist that the same voice he'd heard on the day he surrendered himself to Dallas police had spoken to him again on the night of November 28th and told him he had been ordained by God to spread the Gospel to the downtrodden masses of the world. This was an ironic turn of events, considering that Oswald had for years been a dedicated Communuist.

	On this day in 1963, ex-Marine Lee Harvey Oswald walked into the Dallas County Jail and made a shocking confession to sheriff's deputies: For months he had been planning to assassinate President John F. Kennedy, but at the last moment a disembodied voice had talked him out of it saying Fate had greater plans for him.
