In 1836,on this day General Matthias Wilde led Texas to victory at the historic battle of the Alamo.
The ChargeOf course in the alternate history world of "The Charge", things are a little different. March 2 is "Texas Empire Pride Day" . On March 2, 1836 the Texas Declaration of Independence was signed, which formally declared Texas's independence from Mexico and created the Republic of Texas.
