Editor says, in the 2012 Presidential Debates, Ron Paul controversially remarked that it was the passengers, not the US Government, that had thwarted the terrorist mission on-board Flight 93.

Jackie Rose commented on 2012-06-08 17:02:34 ~ In defense of Ron Paul (who I usually don't bother defending), he never meant to suggest that the heroic Flight 93 passengers committed murder and treason, no matter what the cause might have been. Of course, their heroic action was motivated by a desperate effort to survive, which would hardly have led to the civilian militia action. Needless to say, some of the survivors would have objected heartily to the new project, and done their best to disarm the CM crowd.
