Because it raised a few eyebrows among the crowd, Yeshua corrected him with the words "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill2". Nevertheless, during his long ministry, he developed a lasting reputation as one of the greatest teachers of the age.
